Many of Hazuka's employees grew up and learned to navigate the worlds rivers on the Wild and Scenic Kern River; in Kernville, California. Flowing off the highest mountain in the United States, (Mount Whitney) this river receives a good amount of snow melt for people of all whitewater abilities. If you live in Southern California the Kern is the closest major river drainage, offering some of the best whitewater in the state. The Kern has a little something for everyone. Choose from one of dozens of different kayak and raft runs, ranging from class II to class V.

The classic beginner stretch, known as the Lickety Split is the perfect way to introduce yourself or any of your friends to the sport of whitewater rafting. The run is extremely forgiving and perfect for inflatable kayaks and in the late summer months; inner tubes.
